Our Scope Of Care
Personalized Care. Every Step of the Way.
At Neural Empathy, no two healing journeys are alike—and neither are the levels of care we offer. Each child or teen who enters our care receives a customized treatment plan that meets them where they are, emotionally, developmentally, and clinically.

Whether a youth needs immersive support, a structured step-down approach, or flexible outpatient therapy, we provide a full continuum of trauma-informed services that evolve with their progress—and extend far beyond discharge.
Residential Treatment (RTC)
Our residential programs provide 24/7 therapeutic care in licensed, home-like environments designed for safety, structure, and healing. These highly supportive settings allow youth to step away from the stressors of home, school, or crisis situations and focus fully on their recovery.

-
Daily group and individual therapy
-
Medication management and psychiatric care
-
Trauma-informed education and skill-building
-
Creative, recreational, and expressive therapies
-
Family therapy and engagement
-
Detox services available for youth with co-occurring substance use needs
Youth in RTC typically transition to lower levels of care once stabilized.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHP is ideal for youth who need structured therapeutic care during the day but can return home or to a safe placement in the evenings.

-
6–8 hours of clinical programming per day
-
5–6 days per week for an average of 4–6 weeks
-
Individual, group, and family therapy
-
Continued focus on trauma processing and coping skills
-
Ideal for youth stepping down from residential care or requiring intensive support without overnight stay
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our IOP offers a greater level of flexibility while maintaining consistent therapeutic structure and support. This level of care helps youth maintain engagement in school and family life while receiving treatment.

-
3 hours of therapy per day, 3–5 days per week
-
Developmentally appropriate group sessions and one-on-one counseling
-
Continued trauma and behavior-focused interventions
-
Family coaching and care coordination
-
Typical duration: 3–6 weeks

IOP may be used as a step-down from PHP or as an entry point for youth requiring moderate support.

Outpatient & Virtual Services
For youth needing ongoing care, outpatient and telehealth services provide access to therapy, medication management, and specialized interventions—without disrupting daily routines.

-
Talk therapy and psychiatric care
-
Medication-assisted treatment when appropriate
-
